Located in Southport, Fire Baby is a contemporary restaurant offering two distinct dining experiences under one roof, a casual Italian Pizzeria & Bar and EMBER, a Fire Kitchen where dishes are expertly cooked with fire.

At its core, Fire Baby Pizzeria celebrates the spirit of Italy with wood-fired pizzas crafted from premium ingredients using time-honoured techniques. Ember adds a bold dimension, showcasing Australian and international cuisine cooked over open flame, from charcoal to wood-fired methods. From the warm glow of the embers to the joy of sharing great food, Fire Baby brings together authentic Napoli-style pizzas and Ember’s flame-cooked creations in vibrant flavours, with every dish telling its own story.

Parking & Getting Here

Council On-Street Parking

Council-managed on-street parking is available right on Welch Street and nearby streets. Rates are around $2.50 per hour from Monday to Saturday, 9 am–5 pm. Pay with coins or card at the meters.

PriPark – Marshall Lane

For an easy flat-rate option, the PriPark car park on Marshall Lane (also accessible from Welch Street) is just a short walk from Fire Baby. Casual all-day parking is only $8.

Catch the G:link Tram

We’re also just a few minutes’ walk from the Southport G:link tram station. Simply hop off at Southport, stroll down Scarborough Street, and you’ll be at Fire Baby in no time — perfect if you’d rather skip parking.
